Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate under the supervision of Steve Crain, LPC-S. She completed her Master of Behavioral Science in Clinical Mental Health of Counseling from Liberty University. She has worked as a special-ed teacher in secondary schools and as a preschool teacher in Waco and Houston, Texas. Jennifer has intern experiences at a local adult outpatient treatment center with individuals struggling with addictions, marital issues, depression, family issues, and suicidal ideations.
Jennifer recognizes that it takes an incredible amount of courage to ask for and seek help. She understands that connecting with her clients includes a trusting relationship to help each person's journey to well-being. Jennifer has worked with clients from all backgrounds and respects and upholds individual's dignity. She does not impose her beliefs and believes that the ministry of the Holy Spirit fosters healing and purpose.
She borrows from many theories but primarily practices cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, and existential therapy. Jennifer believes in Biblical truth and principles and integrates God's grace, love, and wisdom through these approaches toward healing and fulfillment.
Jennifer spends time with her husband and his mountain bike racing, rock wall climbing with her daughter, visiting with two sons in College Station, and cheering her high school son with his workouts. She enjoys walking with her pet dog, Sugar, and is amazed that God created all the beautiful things along the path.
