For every follower of Jesus Christ, there was a first time when you heard the Good News. Some of us heard it at a young age growing up in church. Others heard it as an adult after years of living a life far from what God would've wanted for us.
Regardless of when we grasped it, somebody shared it with us. And, it's likely that many people shared it with us along the way leading up to the point where we finally trusted Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
Now, as holders of the Greatest Gift ever given — eternal life — how can we possibly keep it to ourselves? How can we not do as others have done for us — share this Good News with people who need to hear it?
The resources below are just a few of the many tools available designed to prepare us for sharing our faith with others. We invite you to explore them and find one that resonates with you, then become familiar with it and prepare yourself to put it to use!
... but in your hearts regard Christ the Lord as holy, ready at any time to give a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you.
— 1 Peter 3:15

One-Verse Evangelism® is a simple, interactive way to share Christ’s love conversationally and visually. As you are in a conversation with a friend, you can illustrate Romans 6:23 on a napkin or piece of paper to explain God’s relationship with people.
How do you respond when someone asks about your faith in God, in Christ, your belief in Heaven and Hell, in the Bible? Do you become defensive, do you fight, go into combat mode, become intimidated? None of these extremes are necessary nor are they appropriate. When presented with an opportunity to witness to the truth you can provide a reasonable answer for what you believe.
As you share the Gospel with friends, neighbors, coworkers and more, you may encounter questions about your faith and other religions. Find answers to the most common questions on this page from the North American Mission Board.
