The Sienna Campus of Houston's First is excited to welcome Courtney Scott as our Director of Women’s Ministry!

Courtney is the wife of our very own Director of Children’s Ministry, Tyler Scott. The Scotts have been active members at the Sienna Campus for over five years, and she has been serving with our adoption, foster and orphan care ministry, Legacy 685, for three years. Courtney worked for seven years at The Joy School of Houston educating students with learning differences and disabilities. Her and Tyler were also family teachers for four years with Boys Town in Omaha, Nebraska. While there, she worked with at-risk youth, teaching them behavior management, life skills and how to be a part of a healthy family unit.

Courtney received her degree in Elementary Education with a minor in biblical studies from Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri.

"Courtney’s vocational training and natural skill set positions our church to live out our vision of being a relevant biblical community, in even greater ways," said Sienna Campus Pastor Malcolm Marshall. "She’s a bridge builder. Courtney is very well connected both within our church and in the community, and I’m thrilled to see her leadership flourish as she continues to make inroads, and in the process, establish safe spaces for the women of our church to fall more in love with Christ."

Courtney and Tyler have four children — Elijah (11), Isaac (9), Judah (7) and Haddie (5). Her first day with us was Tuesday, September 8.
