Making disciples that follow Jesus is the mission, and God accomplishes this work through our members, volunteers, staff, and ministry partners. As we engage our diverse population with the Good News of Jesus & show compassion in practical ways, we can have impact here, but that impact can spread far beyond Houston.
Come and serve at our Faith Center locations or on an Outreach Team joining God in His work… doing Local Missions, and having Global Impact.

Summer Internship
Go deeper with Jesus as you Learn & Practice core ministry skills with students from Apartment Communities. End of May-August.

Houston Welcomes Refugees (HWR) is helping to ease the resettlement process for refugees coming to Houston by mobilizing invested, caring volunteers, fostering hope amidst the crisis.
Houston Pregnancy Help Center
Houston Pregnancy Help Centers provide practical and compassionate support to women in unplanned pregnancy situations. We present life affirming alternatives to the tragedy of abortion, while respecting a woman's decision without ridicule or rejection.

God uses Houston's First members and friends to feed and clothe more than 400 families and 1,400 individuals monthly.
NOTE: By appointment only. To make an appointment to receive food and clothes, please call 713.554.8820 Monday - Friday from 9a–2p leave a message with your full name and phone number. Families will be able to come 60 days in between each visit. Both ID and Proof of address is required at the time of the appointment.
