When the rain falls, the church rises.

Pastor Gregg shares message of hope

God opened a door for Pastor Gregg Matte to appear on HLN TV in a live interview in the week following Hurricane Harvey. Listen to his message and share it with others — thousands of people need to hear about hope and where we go from here.

People Who Need Help

Home Relief

The response for clean-up and "mud out" assistance was overwhelming given the extent of Hurricane Harvey's impact on our city. Our LOVEFIRST Disaster Relief volunteers served over 1,100 homes in flood-effected areas.

There are many other groups loving our neighbors in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. Please visit the Houston Church Planting Network website for a compiled list of churches and organizations providing relief to communities throughout the greater Houston area.

Food & Clothing

Food and clothing are still available for those in need at our Food Pantry & Clothes Closet in Spring Branch. Individuals and families may stop by during their normal hours:

Food Pantry & Clothes Closet of Faith Center-Spring Branch
8244 Long Point Rd, Houston, TX 77055
Mon-Thu and Sat @ 10a-1p

In addition to thousands of volunteers from our church family, we have assisted over 100 teams from around the nation wanting to come and partner with Houston's First as our city recovers. To best serve these teams and make arrangements for them while they are in town, we are no longer accepting requests from out-of-town teams.

Special Opportunities

Food Pantry & Clothes Closet

Volunteers are needed to serve each day at the Food Pantry & Clothes Closet of our Faith Center-Spring Branch, located at 8244 Long Point Rd. Volunteer hours are from 9a-4:30p on Mon-Sat. All you have to do is SHOW UP and be ready to serve! (FYI — the facility is open for those in need from 10a-1p on each of those days.)
