People Who Need Help

UPDATED: Thu, Sep 14 @ 4:45p

Home Relief

The response for clean-up and "mud out" assistance has been overwhelming given the extent of Hurricane Harvey's impact on our city. Currently, our LOVEFIRST Disaster Relief volunteers are serving over 700 homes in flood-effected areas. To effectively leverage these volunteers and our supplies, we are unable to accept new requests at this time.

There are many other groups loving our neighbors in the wake of Hurricane Harvey. Please visit the Houston Church Planting Network website for a compiled list of churches and organizations providing relief to communities throughout the greater Houston area.

Food & Clothing

Food and clothing are still available for those in need at our Food Pantry & Clothes Closet in Spring Branch. Individuals and families may stop by during their normal hours:

Food Pantry & Clothes Closet of Faith Center-Spring Branch
8244 Long Point Rd, Houston, TX 77055
Mon-Thu and Sat @ 10a-1p

Read below for how you can volunteer with our relief efforts. If you have additional questions, contact

Local Volunteers

If you are in the Houston area and are able to give of your time or assets (tools, etc.), fill out this form. Once your information is submitted, it will be added to our army of volunteers!

Out-of-Town Volunteers

We have had over 100 teams from around the nation wanting to come and partner with Houston's First as our city recovers. To best serve these teams and make arrangements for them while they are in town, we are no longer accepting requests from out-of-town teams.
