Trips & Volunteer Opportunities

As single adults, we are in a unique place with flexibility, finances, and freedom to be able to go places and serve as we have been called by Christ. Mission trips provide a world perspective of how much God loves the world that He would send us on His behalf to share the good news by loving others. It’s also a great opportunity for personal growth with the application of the truths we have learned and builds bonds that cross classes and age ranges.

Houston's First is sending people all over the world with more opportunities available every year. All trips (unless noted) are open to us, but as singles we often enjoy serving together with other singles so we have highlighted trips that line up with Sojourn’s overall mission, are led by Sojourn members, or are of interest to singles. We are excited about opportunities to serve the poor, care for orphans, construction, street evangelism and even minister to other singles! No matter your schedule, or calling to a region, or ministry there is something for everyone. Until then, please be praying how God can use you where you are be that at work, home, school, or even your Life Bible Study class!
