Cherie Pierucci is a practicum student through Liberty University, under the supervision of Greg Curnutte, LPC-S.
Cherie is from Washington State. She attended University of Washington and finished her degree through the University of Hawaii with an emphasis on Learning and Behavior. She worked in ministry with students and adults who are marginalized and has later in life returned to Liberty University to fulfill a calling and passion to become a counselor.
As a counselor who is a Christian, Cherie is passionate to walk alongside individuals or families as they navigate life's challenges through a faith-based lens. Using biblical principles and professional practices, Cherie strives to create a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where healing and growth can happen. She believes transformation happens when we address the whole person- heart, mind, body, spirit, and relationships. Whether someone is facing anxiety, uncertainty, depression, grief, relationship issues, or life transitions, her goal is to help the client find hope, strength, and restoration through a Christ-centered approach.
Cherie is a lifelong learner and loves to learn about DIY home projects, leadership, the brain, gardening, and cooking creations. She loves to spend time with her husband and two boys. As a family they love traveling and adventure.
