Hannah is in the process of earning her Master of Counseling from B.H. Carroll Seminary. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Texas Woman's University in 2021. She has served for years in ministry settings, ranging from prayer ministry, youth ministry, and young adult ministry at her church in Spring, TX. Hannah has experience helping individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, stress, emotional abuse and neglect, and the effects of trauma.
Hannah recognizes that trust, respect, and dignity are vital to the relationship between the client and counselor. While faith is important to her, Hannah works with clients from all backgrounds and does not impose her beliefs on anyone. A desire to partner with people who are hurting is what drew her to the counseling field. She believes that God's love through the power of the Holy Spirit is what brings ultimate healing in counseling, and she seeks to convey this through building safe relationships with clients.
She practices from a competent, clinical approach, which is often eclectic in nature. She draws from Emotion Focused Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She believes Biblical truth and experiencing God's love through these approaches allow great strides towards healing.
When she is not counseling, Hannah enjoys drawing, painting, reading, and spending time with her family and pets.
