I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate in the state of Texas. I completed my master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and earned my bachelor's of science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University.
I'm experienced in helping clients work through anxiety and depression, life transitions, loss and grief, interpersonal conflict, emotional abuse, and identity work. I have a particular passion for missions, having worked closely with overseas missionaries and am familiar with the blessing and challenges present in missionary life. I also have experience with faith development and cross-cultural concerns.
I believe Scripture is how God has primarily chosen to speak with us, and therefore, I place His word at the center of my counseling. Building on that foundation, I practice person-centered and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques in my counseling. I tailor my approach to each counselee based on their unique personality and circumstances.
I'm a native Houstonian, and a wannabe dog owner married to a wannabe cat owner, perpetually locked in a stalemate. I attend Providence Church of Katy and enjoy serving with the babies in the littles' ministry.
I love traveling internationally, trying new foods, and spending time with the sweet family God has given me.
