Houston’s First continues to look ahead with a spirit of anticipation about what God is going to do next through our church. He continues to move in the hearts of our church family to provide the funds to make our mission - to fulfill the Great Commission - possible, providing immeasurably more than all we had asked or imagined!

Whether you have tithed or made a financial contribution this calendar year or not, we invite you to prayerfully consider giving back to God with a year-end gift to support the ministries of Houston's First. Making A Year-End Contribution

Financial contributions can be made to Houston’s First throughout the year. However, you may be interested in making a contribution to the church before the 2024 tax year ends on Tue, Dec 31. For 2024 contributions to qualify as tax-deductible, they must be received by the church one of the following ways. • ONLINE: Giving online here is always a convenient way to share your generosity. Contributions submitted online must be made before midnight (Central) on Tue, Dec 31, 2024.
• ON MOBILE: Contributions submitted on a mobile device must be made before midnight (Central) on Tue, Dec 31, 2024. To make a mobile contribution, text GIVE to 44322 for a link, or use the Houston’s First Baptist Church app.
• IN PERSON: Contributions can be placed in designated collection boxes at every campus on Sundays throughout December. If not submitted then, contributions being made in person must be brought to the church’s Financial Services office by no later than 3p on Mon, Dec 30. The office is located at The Loop Campus at 7401 Katy Freeway and is open on other weekdays from 8a-4:30p.
• BY MAIL: The postmark date on the envelope must be before Jan 1, 2025. Contributions should be mailed to:

Gifts of Stock

The gifting of stock to the church is a “win-win” situation for both the donor and the church. Since the church is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, the gift will qualify as a charitable contribution and is tax deductible. This is a very simple and easy process that can be coordinated through the Financial Services office of the church.

Estate planning may be the most important act of stewardship any of us will ever undertake. It is, at its core, the process of determining to whom we should transfer the stewardship of all that has been entrusted to us when we are called to step into eternity.
