We are excited to take our 7 and 8 grade students on a special Love Thy City just for them!

Our students will be serving alongside Montrose Street Reach, a long-standing local missions partner of Houston's First Baptist Church, to minister to individuals experiencing homelessness in our city. Students will arrive for a short orientation/preparation at HFBC, then they will be taken to MSR where each week, outside of a brief service, dinner is served to the homeless people who attend. Students will serve the dinner and engage with the lost and the hurting in our city.

After serving dinner and attending a good portion of "Street Church" as they call it, we will return to the bus and take students back to FBC for a short debrief. After the debrief, we will finish the evening with popcorn and a movie on the Lawn @ the Loop, allowing students to not only serve but also enjoy a fun summer night with their peers!
