Super Place Camp is a weeklong Christian camp held each August at a host church in the West Houston area. Churches such as Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church and Houston's First Baptist Church come together to host this remarkable week of Bible studies and activities customized for children ages 4 through those in high school (up to 22) with disabilities. Volunteers from these churches and the local community serve as Buddies for each camper, providing meaningful friendships which often last well beyond this amazing week.

Super Place Camp 2025 will be held at Houston's First Baptist Church on July 28–Aug 1st. Super Place Camp is an amazing Vacation Bible School experience for children with special needs. Camp is from 9 - 12:30p each day and includes Bible Stories, Music, Crafts, Recreation, and Special Events/Visitors. Each camper is paired with a Buddy Volunteer for the week, and the relationships formed are beautiful. This camp fills up quickly and has limited space, so look for registration to open April 1st and have a cost of $50.

Buddy Volunteers are needed! Adults and students, we need "ONE"! We need "ONE" buddy for every camper at Super Place Camp, ready to serve in "ONE" big way, by serving "ONE" special child or young adult. The week promises to fill you with absolute joy!

Requirements for ALL volunteers:

• Be at least 7th grade or older
• Pass a background check (18+)
• Be a member of HFBC or a like-minded church
• Regularly attend a Bible believing church for at least 6 months.
• Attend mandatory training sessions below Sun, July 27th, 2025 @ 2p- The Loop Campus (Chapel)

Volunteer Screening process:

• Complete Volunteer Application
• Provide 3 references
• Interview
• Awareness Training
