Damen Sistrunk was born in Southern Louisiana and his Cajun
Creole heritage is evident in both his dishes and his energetic presence.
Damen’s family moved to Texas where he began his culinary career as a teen. His
career has taken him back and forth between Louisiana and Texas for years
before he finally settled in Houston as a Banquet Catering Chef. We are lucky
to have his energy and creativity in the Café.
