Thru the Roof is open from 9a-Noon to allow your family time to get to Life Bible Study, Worship, or other leadership areas in the church. Families who have children or adults in Thru the Roof must remain on campus during this time.

We offer children's classes in:

• The Bridge class (Rm 329H) is where girls and boys with special needs meet to learn about Jesus in a modified LBS classroom setting during first service. This class mainstreams to the Clubhouse or Loft for FirstKids worship during second service. Children are placed in this class based on age and need.
• The Bungalow class (Rm 329G) meets the needs of boys age 7+. The Bungalow is where boys with special needs are enriched with active LBS learning, about Christ, during first service. This class mainstreams to the Loft for FirstKids worship or boys remain in the suite for social enrichment, based on need, during second service.
• The Cove class (Rm 329J) cares for special needs children preschool age and below or our special friends who are medically fragile. The class enjoys a joy filled, sensory rich, LBS experience during first service. The Cove spends their second service reinforcing social skills and experiencing top notch care. A registered nurse is in the Cove class on Sunday mornings.

Our children's classrooms are equipped with trained volunteers and buddies. There is also a small sensory stations within each classroom. We provide weighted vests, sensory boxes, headphones, music, movement, a Bible story lesson and lots of fun! Snacks are provided as well, and we offer GFCF snacks. If you'd like to provide a snack for your family member, it must be labeled.

Thru the Roof can help in areas of inclusion with your child by assigning them a buddy to help with inclusion in other areas in the church. This is addressed on an individual basis with the Special Needs Coordinator / Children’s Ministry Team.
