And that is the very reason we have started a Blended Family Ministry here at Houston’s First Baptist. In this ministry, you will find a real community of authentic believers that will come around your family. You will not only gain support through encouragement and prayer but find a place to call home. Look forward to being in community through Sunday Life Bible Study classes and gatherings. Know that you don’t have to walk this alone! The first step is the hardest, but when you do step out you will find what God knew we would need…the church.

All Things New is a Life Bible Study class for couples in blended and stepfamilies.

There is so much more to Houston’s First than Sundays! Join the Houston’s First family each spring and fall semester for MidLink — the overall name for everything that goes on on Wednesday nights at our campuses.

Start your evening with MidLink Cafe. Then, drop off the kids at programs just for them on your way to a Milestones adult discipleship class, a fitness class, music rehearsals, or a place to volunteer. There's something for everyone at MidLink on Wednesdays!

Save the date for Wed, Jan 17, for Preview Night where you can explore which Milestone adult discipleship classes will be offered. MidLink will begin in full on Wed, Jan 24.

VOLUNTEER

Blended Family Prayer Team — Commit to pray for the Blended Family Ministry through quarterly online gatherings.

Blended Family Large Events Team — Serve alongside staff and lay leaders in planning and preparation new ministry events for blended families.

Blended Family Volunteer Team — Serving and engaging with blended families at all large events..

Blended Family Mentor Couples — Serve blended families by coming alongside the couples. Option to serve monthly two-on-two or in Life Bible Study weekly being available to the group as needed.
