First Friends Early Learning is a year-round Mother’s Day Out style program for children 6 weeks old through 5 years old. We offer play-based and Biblically-focused activities with age-appropriate academic enrichment.

The purpose of the First Friends Early Learning is to provide a program where students can develop spiritually, cognitively and socially in a safe and loving environment.

School Year Registration

(September–May)

Registration for the 2024–2025 school year is now closed.

2025-2026 Registration Dates:

• Currently enrolled families: February 20, 2025 @ 10a
• Church members: February 27, 2025 – Request link from Megan Pavelka
  • Membership will be verified before the link can be sent.
  • Please be aware that applying for church membership does not qualify as an active church member.
• Public: March 6, 2025 – Link will be posted online @ 10a

Fees & Rates

• All costs below are based per child.
• Completing the Registration Form and paying the $50 registration fee is required by all applicants.
• The $50 registration fee is non-refundable.
• Once your child is offered a spot in the program, a full month's tuition will be due to hold and confirm their spot in the program. This deposit will be applied to May 2026 tuition.
• Deposit Rates: 1 child – $340, 2 children – $646, 3 children – $952
• Withdrawals from the program must be received by or before June 30, 2025.
  • Withdrawal notices provided after June 30, 2025 will forfeit all deposits paid.
• Please note: 2-day enrollments will receive priority enrollment. Families that desire 1-day options will automatically be placed on the waitlist.
• September tuition will be due September 1.

Scholarships

• Complete Scholarship Forms must be submitted by May 15.

2024–2025 Monthly Tuition Rates

• 2 days (Tue & Thu) a week — $340/mo
• 1 day (Tue or Thu) a week — $195/mo

Sibling Discount

A 10% sibling discount will be applied to the additional child’s tuition (example: 1st child: $340, 2nd child: $306).
Only 2-day enrollments are eligible for sibling discounts.

Payments

Monthly tuition payments for First Friends Early Learning are due by the 1st of each month. Failure to pay tuition will result in the loss of your child's spot in the program.

Withdrawal Policy

You may withdraw at any time with a 30-day written notice September 1st -April 1st .

Withdrawals with less than a 30-day written notification will be responsible for the next month's tuition.

Prorated withdrawals are not offered.

Example:

• Notice provided October 1st to not attend starting November 1st.
  Only October tuition due.

• Notice provided January 16th to not attend starting February 1st.
  January & February tuition due.

Late Pickup Policy

A $1 per minute fee will be charged for children picked up after 2:15p.

Please keep in mind

• Each month is the same tuition.
• First Friends Early Learning is NOT prorated for absences or weather related closures.

FFEL Summer Camp

Summer Camp is only offered as a 2-day program with a two-month commitment

• Days and hours remain the same as regular FFEL programming.
• Only currently enrolled families will be offered registration for Summer Camp 2025.

Availability inquires for non-enrolled families may be requested after May 15, 2025 to Megan.Pavelka@HoustonsFirst.org.

Online registration is not available

Summer Camp will run:

• June 3-12
• Closed for VBS (June 16-20)
• June 24-July 31
