Life Bible Studies — Life Bible Study is a weekly, age-graded Bible learning opportunity where kids gather to learn more about Jesus through a chronological, Christ-centered Bible study. Volunteers work together to lead kids through the provided lesson and assist them in a meaningful time of learning and building community.
If you have a passion to help kids learn God's word through Bible study, games, and crafts while building relationships with them, Life Bible Study is for you.
Clubhouse Worship — Clubhouse Worship allows 1st – 2nd graders the opportunity to worship in an age appropriate, Christ honoring way. Volunteers help lead worship through actively listening to the Bible content, singing fun worship songs, interacting with activities and games that reinforce the content and leading kids to make good choices during worship.
If you want to help 1st – 2nd graders learn what it means to worship Jesus and prepare them to worship in big church, check out the clubhouse.
Guest Central — Guest Central is an opportunity to show our visitors Christ’s joy and love and give families comfort as we welcome and serve them. Volunteers help welcome guests, walk them through the check-in process and escort them to their newly assigned Life Bible Study class.
Breakout — Breakout is a midweek opportunity during the school year for 1st – 3rd graders to learn and apply specific spiritual disciplines. Volunteers lead kids through three rotations (interactive Bible stories, Bible verse memorization, and intentional mission games) where kids learn the importance of growing spiritual habits in their lives.
If you have a heart for teaching young kids to grow in their faith, this is the opportunity for you!
Friction — Friction is a mid-week opportunity for preteens (4th – 5th graders) throughout the school year to learn more about their faith and their understanding and skills of a successful walk with Jesus. Volunteers in Friction will have the opportunity to help kids grow community through fellowship and intentional, apologetic Bible studies.
KidLink Store —The KidLink Store is a great opportunity to encourage kids to develop disciplines in memorizing scripture, reading the Bible, and completing their supplemental lesson material. Kids earn KidLink Kash through the semester and get to spend it on KidLink Store days.
Join the fun as a cashier or shopping assistant to ensure the KidLink Store runs efficiently and see the joy on the children’s faces as they reap the benefit of their hard work.
Fall-A-Palooza — First Kids and First Friends (HFBC’s Preschool Ministry) join together to offer families a fun-filled fall fellowship for the whole family. Volunteers at Fall-A-Palooza serve alongside our ministry team with set-up, tear down, parking, greeting, registration, and hosting inflatable games, a petting zoo, and many other hands-on fun experiences designed for preschoolers and 1st – 5th grade kids.
Vacation Bible School (VBS) — Vacation Bible School is our largest event of the year and brings the entire church together to serve our community with the purpose of sharing the Gospel to the next generation. It is a summer week of fun; high-energy learning and it is all about Jesus! Volunteers serve as Bible study, music, missions, and recreation rotation leaders, registration greeters, t-shirt sales, and more.
PreTeen Camp — Preteen Camp is four fun-packed days of Bible study, recreation, water fun, and community building designed for kids who’ve completed 3rd – 5th grades. Volunteer counselors serve as Life Group leaders shepherding 7 – 8 kids during this action filled, God-centered, disciple growing week.
